Alt Tags and Title Tags in HTML and how they improve SEO for website

An HTML attribute used to image tags to provide a text alternative for search engines is known as an 'alt attribute' also known as 'alt tags' and 'alt descriptions'. The search engine rankings of an e-commerce site  can be enhanced by adding images to alt tags, such as product shots. Images can be very important in how people read or understand a particular web page however, search engine and other robot can not interpret the images. By including the text language that search engines can read, alt tags address this problem. Images with properly structured alt text are taken into account and examine by Googlebot or other search engine crawlers, which influence how a website is indexed and where it ranks. People using screen readers or other browsers unable to handle images or graphics might also benefit from alt tags when viewing a webpage(Bigcommerce, 2022).

An HTML code tag called a 'title tag' gives information to users and search engines alike what the webpage is about. Basically, title tag acts as a headline to describe about website and infirm user what is the page about and also search engine in understanding about the website. In addition, of being visible at the top of browser tabs, shared links on social networking platforms, title tags are displayed as the blue text in the search engine, also known as title links, which users can click on to access a website. HTML title tags are important for website to rank well in search engine, along with other components like meta description and meta tags. Title tags are essential as they are easy to use and get notable outcomes(Mizrachi and Mizrachi, 2022).
